Life in Squamish B.C Canada
Welcome back friends, family, clients and people new to viewing my work for the first time. I hope you are all enjoying the subtle season shift and finding that nice fall pace of life. As you know I am very passionate about loving where you live. I think it’s the essence of human to have a deep seasonal connection to your environment. With the world going in a strange direction with 5G wifi and crazy amounts of EMF its number ONE to me to be in a place where I can ground out in nature and get into the forest and connect with the plants, trees, water, stone and all the elements. I have great bridge between working online and also being in the elements as a photographer. It helps me be a better person and fill my cup and tone my primal self. I always feel that my soul is full living in Squamish B.C. The Salmon are about to run concluding a full cycle of the seasons. I am so thankful I have photography to keep me outside.
It is always my intention with my photography to get people into nature and go a little deeper than just a walk or a hike. The healing benefits of the natural world will always be at the root of human truths and I wish thriving health for everyone. I have started to take people on Nature Photography tours where I talk about all the local plants and teach people about nature photography. Please contact me if you are interested in learning more about what I offer.
I am constantly inspired by the landscape of Squamish and all the amazing people. On any given day I can meet a world class adventure athlete, artist or musician. Many of them I have had the opportunity to take photos of in action. I just turned 35 and can say even though I am young I feel very proud and very achieved of the things I have done here and the seeds I have planted and the projects I have been involved it. I am always trying to do my best, and push the limits of what is possible while finding a natural pace within myself.
Thanks to all the amazing rockstar humans in Squamish who inspire me to be the best grounded version of myself and explore all aspects of athletics, healing, community, art and culture. Please come visit and contact me as I would love to do some natural portraits of you in nature and show you the best areas of Squamish from a local photographers perspective. Lots is changing in Squamish but I am so thankful to see all the long time locals continually stepping up to make it special and carry that special feeling when you are here. I am so proud of being a member of this community and hope I do it justice with my images. Squamish ( mother of all winds ) and Squamish nations, I salute you.
